One of the things that financial reporters, pundits, and most pro investors like to say is that it’s impossible for ‘retail investors’ to beat the market.
Retail investors are just individual investors like you and me. We don’t invest for a living, but we still have a few moves in managing our portfolios.
I just pulled up my Fidelity account to see that I’ve been beating the ‘market’ for the last three years:
